IMPORTANT DEVMEET NOTICE (updated)

Dear all,

Thanks for those who have replied our notes. Due to the numerous requests, we have decided to push our devmeet to August.

The following date is proposed:

12th AUGUST (Friday)

We meet up at 2pm in Shau Kei Wan MTR station (near Chai Wan), then get a mini-bus which goes to Shek O, and will get off before then (remind me to let the bus driver know that we're stopping at Big Wave Bay). Then we'll leave the beach at about 7.

Activities will include sand castle building (do bring any buckets and spades), swimming, or just chill out. If you would like to share your artwork with us, feel free to bring them along, but do be aware of the sunlight so make sure you only expose them in the shade. Anyone have a beach umbrella that you wouldn't mind sharing with the club?

If you are travelling by other means of transport, please let me know so I will know how many people I expect to see on the beach.

If you have a strong preference for a different date (but not weekends because of the crowdedness) please let us know.

i can only do the twelth, i work on the 8th and I'll be on a plane to england on the 16th

yes i think 12th would be good as well

Any of these dates would do fine for me though but Friday seems good.
Have we decided about the transport?

Hey someone won the 100th member award!!

The 12th, funnily enough is the last weekday on my summer job. I might have another Sat half day then it should be all over, thank heaven. Obviously also can't make 8th.

But like I say I might be busy on those dates anyway, so the majority should decide.
