I FEEL LIKE SUCH AN EVIL PERSON.

I'm so sorry.


If you applied to be a member, I'm sorry, you'll be added by the end of the weekend.

I've had my exams and what not. So I banned myself from the computer, and then after exams finished I suffered from a combination of forgetfulness and lazyness. It's slowly fading, but it's still pretty bad.


Anyways, about the devmeet. Okay so I'll be free any time after the 18th of June.

The main ideas are:
- the Beach (maybe we could go kayaking or something)
- Dinner or drinks or something
- Getting lost in Hong Kong
- Some kind of photo tour

We'll vote now, and then decide on the best date.


I also need someone to help me out with this, since I think Mei stopped caring long ago. So if you want to help out, please note and i will consider your application. haha. Basically what you'd be doing is just adding new members which is quite boring and tedious, and also trying to liven this place up.

I'm with Guts80. HK has this marvelous thing called free drinks for girls on Ladies Night, you don't really get that much in the US/UK. Sorry guys... maybe you could all dress up in skirts?

The beach would be a better option for later on in the year, I was on the outer islands a few days ago and it was too hot 'n' humid to be nice at all, no matter how little you were wearing.

Dinner and drinks sound lovely, all in all.

Exactly. XD Or we could go during gay's happy hour, so skirts optional. You'll just have to hold hands with a guy and gaze soulfully into his eyes every now and then.

There's some fairly cheap happy hours too, $30 for a pint before 8.00 at a place I know.

Um... Ladies Night is quite common in London. :p But they charge us bloke quite a lot to get in. £30, I think.

Look, guys, how about a seafood night on one of the islands? I suggested that last time after the beach gathering on Lamma, so it would be great if we can gather a group of at least 6 (2 groups would be great!).

We can do a trip on the island, even drawing artists and writers can come along - we can split up and meet up at a later time.

With at least 6 people, each person only has to pay about $40 for a nice seafood meal.

I personally don't mind any date, but obviously a Saturday would make more sense for everyone I guess.

Any inputs?

I know it exists, it's just I haven't seen many places give free drinks to ladies, it's normally something like half price or whatever.
