*Celenai raised a good point in saying that it's too hot for the beach right now. I agree, so I think maybe we can organise one for late august?

But for now, drinks! Since we want something cheap then a ladies night would probably be best. I'm not exactly savvy with the bar scene in Hong Kong, so someone, feel free to pick a place. I do know that ladies night means a wednesday?

Typhoon does a good ladies night deal on a Thursday night -free standard spirits, or something. Club 97 has free Cosmos for girls on a Thursday night, but is pretty expensive for people actually buying drinks. The Cavern has Jagerbombs on Thursday. Lan Kwai's other places I assume just have something on a Wedesday night.

For the men though, I suggest we all meet up fairly early, say 6.30 or 7.00, and find a good happy hour. Les Jardins has Stella, Hoegarden and Carlsburg [I think] on tap, for $30 a pint before 8.00. Bulldogs has Guiness on tap though, which is also very tempting.

Anyone else who has suggestions, put them here. We could have dinner as well, maybe? As for a date, I leave Hong Kong on the 3rd July, so sometime in the coming week would be great. I'm thinking Thursday the 28th June.

I've had my exams and what not. So I banned myself from the computer, and then after exams finished I suffered from a combination of forgetfulness and lazyness. It's slowly fading, but it's still pretty bad.


Anyways, about the devmeet. Okay so I'll be free any time after the 18th of June.

The main ideas are:
- the Beach (maybe we could go kayaking or something)
- Dinner or drinks or something
- Getting lost in Hong Kong
- Some kind of photo tour

We'll vote now, and then decide on the best date.


I also need someone to help me out with this, since I think Mei stopped caring long ago. So if you want to help out, please note and i will consider your application. haha. Basically what you'd be doing is just adding new members which is quite boring and tedious, and also trying to liven this place up.

Sorry guys, I've been out Partee-ing. Which has been super fun. I hope you all had a wonderful Rugby Week, I know I did. I'm actually quite happy because Hong Kong went further this year than it had in the past few years. It was a beautiful moment for me.

Hahah, I'm kind of blabbing on a bit now. And I've read the angry comment/s. Hahah. Well, we have one new member, *Dagorath, other than that I've gotten no notes for submissions and no notes for new members.

If you guys would like another devmeet, you can start pitching your ideas now. Because from experience, I know this can take a while. Hahah.
